This course is primarily for horticulture students and students from relevant fields. Fundamental principles of plant propagation are studied, including biological basis of propagation, seed propagation, vegetative propagation, and tissue culture propagation. Techniques and applications are practiced and discussed in the lab section. The lab section is designed to reinforce the lecture material by giving students an opportunity to observe horticultural applications and their parts firsthand and to do experiments.

此課程主要針對本系作物學群學生開設，視授課人數酌予相關領域學生。 課程針對植物繁殖學的原理做探討，包含了：繁殖的生物基礎、種子繁殖、營養繁殖以及組織培養。 技術與應用會以個案方式在課堂上實做與討論，實習課是設計用來加強正課的內容，並提供學生觀察與第一手的實務經驗。
